Fulfilling a desire to have children is a dream for many people, unfortunately, this is not always easy to achieve. If becoming pregnant does not work immediately or is not self-evident, a fertility treatment may help you fulfill your desire to have children. This can be done as a couple (of any orientation), but also if you are single. Guidance is also possible if you request co-parenthood or for a child wish of transgender people.

MEDICAL

TREATMENT

  • During an initial consultation, we will examine your specific situation and discuss the treatments that may be applicable to your situation.
  • We will also inform you about any preliminary examinations (such as sperm tests, blood tests, ultrasound, etc.).
  • An individual treatment plan will then be drawn up for you and you will be invited for a consultation in which the practical steps will be discussed further.
  • In a next phase, the actual fertility treatment begins. All medical procedures (such as insemination, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, etc.) will take place in the Brussels IVF. For consultations, ultrasounds and blood tests, you can also go to the private practice of Dr. Vloeberghs in Afsnee (Ghent).
  • If we succeed in achieving a pregnancy, one or two follow-up consultations will follow. For further follow-up of the pregnancy, you can then contact your usual gynaecologist. Of course we will keep your usual gynaecologist informed throughout the entire fertility treatment.
